The study involved analyzing data from over 1,000 individuals with psoriasis, who were asked to complete a dietary questionnaire. The results showed that those following a plant-rich, low saturated-fat diet had significantly lower psoriasis severity compared to those consuming higher amounts of saturated fat. Specifically, the researchers found that each 10% increase in saturated fat intake was associated with an increase in psoriasis severity.
